Prep: Identify the necessary materials: shirt (preferably ironed) and a flat, smooth surface.

1. If your shirt is a button-up, make sure all the buttons, including the sleeves, are buttoned. Flip the shirt over and smooth out any large wrinkles or folds with your hands.

2. Fold the left sleeve towards the center of the shirt so that the crease is mid-way through the shoulder. The left sleeve will cover a large portion of the right sleeve.

3. Fold the left sleeve again, bringing it back on top of itself and the cuff down towards the bottom of the shirt. Align the length of the sleeve with the side of the shirt. It will create a diagonal line near the shoulder.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the right sleeve.

5. Fold the bottom two or three inches of the shirt up towards the collar.

6. Bring the bottom of the shirt all the way up to just under the collar.

7. Flip the shirt over and place it on the shelf or in the drawer.
