Prep: Identify the wide and narrow ends of the tie.

1. Drape the tie around your neck with the narrow end on the right and the wide end on the left. The narrow end should be about 10 to 12 inches long.

2. With your left hand, take the wide end of the tie and cross it over the narrow end. Hold in place with index and middle fingers.

3. With your right hand, bring the wide end under and up through the loop. Rest it on your left hand hand fingers.

4. Repeat step 4.

5. Feed the wide end through small loop that is opened by your left hand fingers. Pull wide end through to tighten the knot.

6. Holding the narrow end of the tie, slide the knot up to your neck to a comfortable fit.

7. To tighten the knot, pull the wide end.

8. To remove the knot, pull out the narrow end from above the knot.
